Text Box: Workshop Rotation
The 2004-2005 church year will be the second year of workshop rotation for the Religious Education Program. In order to better address different learning styles, and to welcome more adults to participate in our program, we will again be following the Workshop Rotation Model (WoRM) for our children in kindergarten through sixth grade. This year, we will study our Unitarian Universalist heritgate, as we learn about UU history and famous UU’s. Each workshop rotation will last for three weeks, with each of our three multi-age groups of children attending one of three different workshops every week. There will be an arts and crafts workshop, a drama and games workshop, and a video workshop. An adult spirit guide will travel with the children from workshop to workshop, during the three week period, while workshop leaders will stay in their classrooms for the entire three weeks, giving them the opportunity to work with all of our children over that period of time.

Note: Our video workshop will most likely run later than our usual 12:15 finish time. This will give the parents of children in that workshop more time to enjoy coffee hour. Please make every effort to allow time for your child to see the video in its entirety.
