Allegheny’s Racial Justice Ministry continues our celebration of Black Heritage Month by welcoming Don Hammonds, who will share his insights on how he assures that his four sons have a rich understanding of their African American heritage. Don is a seminarian at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, an editor at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspaper, and a partner in a biracial same-sex relationship.
