Intergenerational Sunday Service: The Power of Song

The Annual AUUC Music Service will be presented by the Choir, the children, some of our instrumentalists and Kiki Barley. Please join us to sing together and celebrate the role of music in worship.

10:30 am - Flower Communion & Coming of Age Service, Speaker: Paul Lawson

Thanksgiving in Spring Food Drive- Bags due today. We will follow the service with the annual Church Picnic in North Park (Shelter #29 Flagstaff Hill). All are welcomed to join us.

June 15 - New Member Recognition Service

10:30 am Reflections on "Bonk",
Speaker: Andrew Weber

How the life of a bunny rabbit named "Bonk" can inform us to live better and fuller lives. This will be Andrew's last service with AUUC before he leaves to begin his ministerial internship in Texas.

June 22

8:00 am Pancake Breakfast

9:30 am Liberation Spirit, Speaker: Rev. Dave McFarland

We'll start with an 8 am pancake breakfast followed by a 9:30 am service with Reverend David McFarland speaking on "GLBT Liberation". Following the service we will offer bus transportation to the march start downtown near PNC's Firstside Center (a small fee will be collected to defray the bus rental cost).

AUUC has applied for a spot in the march and we invite all area UU's to march with us. The PrideMarch will begin at noon followed by a Pridefest on Liberty Ave downtown from 1 - 6 pm.

June 29

10:30 am - And Then There Were Two,
Speaker: Stacey Waite

Stacey Waite is a writer, a teacher and queer activist who has published two collections of poems: Choke and Love Poem to Androgyny. The poetry reading and short talk will focus on the connections between Buddhist practice and Stacey's experiences as a multigendered individual living in an either/or world.

Services at Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church begin at 10:30 am
(with the exception of June 22).

We will not be holding our monthly 9:30 am Communion Services during the months of June, July, and August. Join us for the next Communion Service on 14 September.
