October 7

10:30 AM - Speaker: Reverend David McFarland
You Are Living Your Legacy. Rev. Dave explores what the Hebrew Genesis story teaches about stewardship. The children will join us for the first part of the service.

Note: The Steelers have a home game scheduled today for 1:00 pm.*


October 14

9:30 AM - Communion Service: This half-hour service celebrates and strengthens our commitment to justice. Traditional symbols are used, but all will feel welcome regardless of belief. Please join us.

10:30 AM - Speakers: Reverend David McFarland & Kathy Kozachenko
Only Connect! Rev. Dave and Kathy K. join Unitarian Universalists around the country for Association Sunday, exploring our connections to the big picture.

 


October 21

10:30 AM - Gather the Spirit, Harness the Power. Led by the members of the Allegheny Small Groups Ministry. The morning music will be provided by Life In Balance.


October 28

10:30 AM - Speaker: Scilla Wahrhaftig
Torture: What can you do about it? We are very pleased to welcome Scilla Wahrhaftig from the American Friends Service Committee (http://www.afsc.org/pittsburgh/) this week. The music offerings this week will include live music by Brad Yoder, who will be featured at the DownUnder Coffeehouse next month.


Services at Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church begin at 10:30 am.
