July 1- Pronoia: Why Not Expect The Good, Jane Dirks, CLL

July 8 - Storms of Change, Michael Miller
Michael Miller of the UU Church of the South Hills will talk about his experiences volunteering with the UU Service Committee in New Orleans.

July 15 - Growing Up Gardening, Laura Winter
Laura Winter, Master Gardener, educator and founder of the Green Millenium Children's Garden on the North Side, will share her vision of volunteerism here in her own community. Tending the garden enriches the lives of local children and the adults who guide them.

July 22 - Quantum Theatre - A Spiritual Journey, Karla Boos, Founder and Artistic Director, Quantum Theatre
Pittsburgh artist and visionary Karla Boos gives us insight into her own journey of groundbreaking theatre. Quantum Theatre recently staged The Red Shoes here at Allegheny and uses "found space" to create and enhance the atmosphere of a production.

July 29 - Celebrating Lughnasadh: First Harvest, First Fruits, Allegheny's Spiritual Journey Group
AUUC's Spiritual Journey Group will mark this date by sharing with us: fruits, insights, questions.

August 5 - Animal Blessing, Jane Dirks. CLL
Jane Dirks will lead this annual Allegheny "pet blessing". BRING YOUR PETS! Service will be held outdoors, weather permitting.

August 12 - Grounds for Action, Kim Walkenhorst and Friends, Founders of Beleza Coffee House
What motivates a group of friends from Michigan to move into urban Pittsburgh, create a community and seek social justice? Starting with just seven people, 30 more have moved into the North Side and more are on their way. The founders of Beleza will share their story.

August 19 - Steer By Needs: A Path Towards Peace, Rick Smith
Rick Smith will share his personal journey towards peace.
