Services for September 2005 SEPTEMBER 4 Join us as we celebrate Labor Day with Allegheny member Barbara Barnes as our speaker. SEPTEMBER 11 Our Director of Religious Education, Kris Thomas, and Rev. Dave will present this annual intergenerational gathering of the waters. Note: The Steelers have a home game scheduled today for 1:00 pm.* SEPTEMBER 18 Monthly gathering that celebrates our community of faith in action—please join us. Living By Connecting 11:00 am Rev. David McFarland Rev. Dave reflects on the connections that create our lives. SEPTEMBER 25 Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations – several members and friends of Allegheny will share their spiritual journeys this morning to help us affirm and promote our third UU principle. Note: The Steelers have a home game scheduled today for 4:15 pm.* OCTOBER 2 Preparing for the November 6 installation, Rev. Dave will share his hopes – and maybe make some promises – for this new phase of our relationship. Children and youth will join in the first part of the Service. Services at Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church begin at 11 o’clock. Summer services (through Sept 4) begin at 10 o'clock. * Please allow extra time on Steeler Sundays.
