Acceptance Of One Another: A Journey Into Fear Rev. Dave Lutz

Our Third Principle says, "We covenant to affirm and promote acceptance of one another . . ." But if we value acceptance, we find we have to then come to terms with fear, whether our own or that of others. Fear shows up in many guises, and we ignore it at our peril.

On this traditional All Souls Day we gather to remember the significant people from our lives who have died. This Service of Remembrance is composed of word,meditation and song.

Molly Rush, long time activist and organizer, co-founder of the Thomas Merton Center and community leader extraordinaire, has been at the forefront of the struggle for peace and justice for many years.Molly will share with us how her spirituality has influenced her important work and guided her life.Molly is an inspiration to all who seek to stand firmly for and act on their beliefs - a tireless and true peaceful warrior.

We've all heard in school that the alleged first Thanksgiving was a time of great celebration. Everybody gets to participate in this Service of Celebration, of getting to gratitude - and having some fun along the way.

Weaving Webs: UUism and the WWW Stephen Hirtle, Ph.D.

Tim Berners-Lee, who is considered to be the inventor of the World Wide Web, is also a Unitarian Universalist. In his recent book, Weaving the Web, he discusses how his vision of the internet is consistent with UU principles.Member, Steve Hirtle, will share his thoughts on this vision.
