For this traditional ingathering
Service, don’t forget to bring water to pour into the common bowl

Pittsburgh, bring water from the Mon or Allegheny or Lake Elizabeth!
We’ll celebrate coming back together as we begin another year of
action and reflection on the value of community.

pianist, lyricist, mushroom cultivator, gardener, backwoodsman and
self-styled shaman has embraced the simple life in an exemplary
fashion. Living a self-sufficient life in his self-crafted earth
sheltered home Dan opens his heart and home to visitors monthly in a
celebration of our connection to the earth, to all beings and to the

intensely spiritual existence in the woods of northwestern
Pennsylvania.

free and responsible search for truth and meaning.
SEPTEMBER 28
Instilling a Consciousness of
Peace Lawrence Wray
September 21 is World Peace Day.
Is the renewal of violence in our individual and collective responses
to the world inevitable or is there such a force-a revolutionary
essence – with which people can begin to resist affronts to
humanity? Drawing on Buddhist sources and practices of contemplative
prayer, we’ll reflect on the challenge World Peace Day offers.
Sunday Service at Allegheny Unitarian
Universalist Church begins at 11 o'clock. |
